Well, another trout opener is behind us and reports are it was really good fishing for both trout and steelhead.

We have had 2 solid days of rain and the river has came up some and leaving the river a bit stained. Still fishable, but if you don’t know where fish were spawning your gonna have a tough time. Saturdays trip was a soaker with Wes and Jim being troopers but we just couldnt get a fish in the net. Jim rolled 3 nice browns and lost a decent steelhead stripping a white gallops sex dungeon and Wes had a couple chasers but no hookups.

We also hooked some steel fishing pockets but with the same results. A couple good runs, but nothing to the net. With the stain I would expect some fresh fish to make it up in few days.
